ANDOVER, MA – Emphasizing Dan Koh’s “ability to get things done for working families,” Laborers Local 243 today endorsed Koh in the race for the 3rd Congressional District. Local 243 represents close to 400 members, and is the tenth union endorsement that Koh has received: he has also been endorsed by IUPAT DC 35, Pipefitters Local 537, Laborers Local 175, IBEW Local 96, Laborers Local 609, IUEC Local 4, IUOE Local 4, Laborers Local 88, and Wreckers Local 1421.
“We are supporting Dan because of his ability to get things done for working families,” said Business Manager of Local 243 Kevin Duffy. “Our members know that Dan will work to generate good-paying jobs with upward mobility.”
“I am proud to have Local 243’s support,” stated Koh. “Unions fight everyday for fair wages and strong workplace protections. We need elected officials who will listen to the ideas and concerns of union members and working people. As Congressman, I will stand up for the working families of the Third District.”
