Chairwoman of Methuen City Council Jennifer Kannan Endorses Dan Koh in 3rd District Congressional Race

ANDOVER, MA – Citing his “vision and experience,” Jennifer Kannan, Chairwoman of the Methuen City Council, today endorsed Dan Koh for Congress. Kannan has served as an at-large City Councilor for Methuen from 2008-2013 and from 2016 to the present. She is serving as chairwoman of the City Council for 2018, having previously served as chairwoman in 2012 and vice-chairwoman in 2009.

“I’m proud to support my friend Dan Koh,” stated Kannan. “As someone who has served for more than 8 years on the Methuen City Council, I know that Dan has the vision and experience to address the concerns that I hear from my constituents every day. Dan understands that we need to expand access to quality, affordable healthcare and combat the opioid epidemic by investing in intervention and recovery programs.”

“I am so grateful to have Jennifer’s support,” said Koh. “She has been a tireless advocate for improving constituent services and stopping the opioid crisis. Like Jennifer, I come from city government, where we put aside partisan bickering to solve problems and get things done. That’s what public service should be about. That’s what this campaign for Congress is about. I will fight everyday to work on behalf of the people of this district.”
