ANDOVER – Emphasizing that Dan Koh will “bring a new voice to Congress,” Concord Selectman Michael Lawson today endorsed Koh in the Third District congressional race. Lawson, who is currently the Clerk of the Select Board, has served as a Selectman since 2014. Lawson’s endorsement underscores Koh’s strong support in Concord. Koh has also received endorsements from Chair of the Select Board Tom McKean, longtime Concord Democratic State Committee member Janet Beyer, and other local community leaders and unions.
“I am thrilled to have Michael’s endorsement, and I am so proud of our strong grassroots support in Concord and throughout the Third District,” said Koh. “Michael is constantly thinking about how to help Concord, and I look forward to continuing to listen and learn from his input. In Congress, I will work closely with community leaders like Michael to get things done for working families across this district.”
“I am so excited to support Dan’s campaign,” said Lawson. “My family’s lived in Concord for more than two decades, and Dan’s exactly who I want representing us in Congress. He understands that effective leadership starts with listening, and he has a proven track record of bringing people together to achieve real progressive results. Dan’s a young, hardworking leader who will bring a new voice to Congress, and I look forward to helping him become the next Congressman for the Third District.”
